SNAP Enrollment
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP provides a monthly benefit to individuals and families through an Electronic Benefits Card (EBT) to supplement the purchase of nutritious foods. Research from SCHEV estimates that nearly 25% of VCCS students would be eligible for SNAP, but only a tiny fraction of them received SNAP benefits.
Through the use of Single Stop, Germanna helps students determine eligibility for SNAP benefits. We also have SNAP 50/50 support specialists who can help you with your SNAP application. Email SNAP@germanna.edu for more information.
