Meals on campus

Student Life & Leadership and other departments often offer free meals for events held on campus. Check your student emails regularly or go to The Grizz to learn when sandwiches, pizza, and other meals will be offered for free.

SNAP Enrollment

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP provides a monthly benefit to individuals and families through an Electronic Benefits Card (EBT) to supplement the purchase of nutritious foods. Research from SCHEV estimates that nearly 25% of VCCS students would be eligible for SNAP, but only a tiny fraction of them received SNAP benefits.

Through the use of Single Stop, Germanna helps students determine eligibility for SNAP benefits.  We also have SNAP 50/50 support specialists who can help you with your SNAP application. Email SNAP@germanna.edu for more information.
