Cumulative GPA Required
- Minimum of 2.0 as computed under VCCS policy. Courses transferred into the two-year college are not included in the GPA calculation.
Acceptance Status
- Applicable degrees: Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), Associate of Arts & Sciences (AA&S)
- Completion of the transfer-oriented degree program will guarantee completion of the VSU general education component of the undergraduate curriculum.
- Students must earn a minimum of 30 credits from the VCCS institution.
- The GAA will be honored for students who earn an Associate degree concurrently with a high school diploma.
- Classes with a grade of C or higher will transfer.
- Apply by June 1 for fall and December for spring.
- The Founder's Scholarship of $6,500 is available to transfer students who have completed an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Contact the VSU Office of Financial Aid for more information.
