Refunds are processed based on payment method and student choice. Payments made through ePay with a credit card are most often refunded back through ePay to the original card used to make the payment. Payments made through ePay with an e-check, by mail, or in-person as well as financial aid are processed in the manner that is selected by the student.
The refund options include direct deposit to a checking or savings or paper check. If no choice is made, a refund in the form of a check to the student’s mailing address on file will be processed. To expedite your refund, select a direct deposit option to eliminate mail time.

Electronic financial aid disbursements and refunds
Germanna has contracted with Nelnet Campus Commerce to process financial aid disbursements and certain tuition refunds to students electronically.
Sign up early
We encourage you to sign-up early so your refund disbursement won’t be delayed..
Register to Receive Your Refund
- Go to germanna.edu
- Log on to MyGCC and click on SIS (Student Information System).
- Select “My Student Information” tile.
- Under Finances, click on Manage Refund.
