Fredericksburg, VA—Germanna Community College will celebrate its 55th anniversary with its inaugural Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the Fredericksburg Area Campus. Open to alumni, families, and community members, the event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at 10000 Germanna Point Drive.
The celebration coincides with Germanna’s annual Give Day, a fundraising effort dedicated to student success. Proceeds support the Germanna Cares Fund, providing emergency assistance for housing, food, transportation, and other essentials. Donations also strengthen the Germanna Guarantee Program, a resource that helps cover tuition gaps so students can stay enrolled and on track to graduate.
Homecoming activities will include family-friendly entertainment, opportunities to reconnect with fellow alumni, and a chance to learn more about Germanna’s history and future plans. Admission is free, though advance registration is encouraged.
