Future Educators Academy (FEA) is a college partnership lab school that prepares future elementary and special education teachers through dual enrollment using accelerated, hands-on learning.
FEA includes a specialized transfer agreement with University of Mary Washington, so students can graduate with a bachelor's degree and earn their teacher licensure two years after high school graduation.

Class Location
Classes are taken at the Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper County.
No out-of-pocket cost to students
Thanks to generous funding through the College Partnership Laboratory School Fund, students pay nothing out of pocket to obtain an Associate degree through FEA.
Non-competitive application
Selection is determined by lottery.
Commit to teaching for two years in your home division
Divisions are dedicated to offering positions to all successful FEA grads!
Get hands-on experience
Practicums, observations, workshops and other experiential learning prepare students for an exciting and rewarding career in education.
To be considered, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a rising junior at a participating high school
- Completed Algebra II or higher by the end of their sophomore year
- Completed three verified credits by the end of sophomore year
- Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
- In good disciplinary standing with the high school
Germanna will request transcripts from your high school to confirm that applicants meet, or are on track to meet, all requirements as part of the application process.
