The cost of attending Germanna varies according to the living arrangements and residency status of the student. Below, you will find a detailed explanation of what Germanna’s cost of attendance is for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Cost of attendance is the total amount it will cost you to go to school—usually expressed as a yearly figure. It’s determined using rules established by the Department of Education.

Cost of attendance includes direct, billable expenses like tuition and fees, books, supplies, course materials (if charged against financial aid), as well as indirect expenses for equipment, transportation, personal/miscellaneous expenses, living expenses (housing and food), loan fees for those borrowing federal student loans, and the cost of obtaining your first professional licensure as required by your program.

For students attending between one and five credits (less than half-time), the COA includes tuition and fees and an allowance for books, supplies, and transportation. It can also include living expenses for up to three semesters or the equivalent at the institution, but no more than two of those semesters or the equivalent may be consecutive.

Please note that the figures below are an estimated cost of average expenses and are based on full-time (12 credits) enrollment. For enrollment less than full-time, the budget items may be reduced.

Contact financial aid if you have any questions or if you have any unusual expenses that might affect your cost of attendance.
