New Student Orientation

All new Germanna students are required to complete the online orientation.

Orientation prepares you to meet with an academic advisor, and helps to make your transition into the Germanna community a successful one.

Online Orientation

The online orientation gives new students the essential information needed to get started at Germanna. While you can complete orientation before applying, we encourage you to complete an application to Germanna first. Then, please use your student ID number to create an account for orientation; this way your participation will be recorded.

Advising Hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Virtual only)

An advising session often takes one hour. Arrive at least one hour prior to closing.

Fredericksburg Area Campus

Advising at our Fredericksburg Area Campus is currently BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Appointments may be scheduled using Navigate.

Extended Virtual Advising Hours

  • Monday - Thursday: 5:30 -7 p.m. by appointment only
