The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 33 examinations. Earn credit for knowledge you’ve acquired through independent study, prior coursework, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, or internships.

Closings or Delays
If Germanna Community College is closed or delayed (beyond your appointment time) due to inclement weather, you will be contacted and allowed to reschedule your exam appointment.
Fees
Test candidates must sign up for an account online and pay the CLEP testing fee of $93 for each exam they wish to take. Candidates must print the test ticket at this time and bring it to the Germanna CLEP exam testing center on test day. The fee to test at Germanna Community College is $25 per exam. This will need to be paid by cash at the cashier’s window before proceeding to the test room. The cashier will provide a receipt that needs to be presented at the time of testing.
Accommodations
Accommodation requests must be submitted to cleptesting@germanna.edu at least three weeks before your test date. You must provide a description of the accommodation and supporting documentation. Do not register for a CLEP exam until your accommodation is approved. Your appointment will not be confirmed until you submit all necessary documentation. Registration
Please use the registration form to schedule a CLEP exam at Germanna Community College. You will receive a confirmation of your exam date and time via email. Please email cleptesting@germanna.edu with questions or if you do not receive your exam reservation confirmation within five business days. Testing appointments must be requested no later than midnight the Monday before the requested test date. Please allow up to five business days for scheduling of CLEP exam reservations.
Dates
CLEP test will be available on the last Wednesday of each month except for November. The November test date will be announced. There will be no testing in December.
