After you have successfully submitted your FAFSA you may check the financial aid status by logging into MyGCC.

  1. Login to your MyGCC
  2. Select SIS: Student Information System
  3. Click My Student Information
  4. Check all recent messages in the Message Center
  5. Check for any negative Holds
  6. Take action on any items in your To-Do-List
    • To-Do-List items are documents and forms that allow the financial aid office to review the information you provided on the FAFSA. Typical items include but are not limited to identification, proof of high school completion, verification worksheets, tax return transcripts, W2’s, verification of benefits received, marital status information and verification of non-filing/income earned.

The Account Inquiry link is used to view how your financial aid will adjust to match your enrollment during registration periods. Click on the yellow button link titled CLICK HERE to see Pending Financial Aid Based on Actual Enrollment

The View Financial Aid link is the award that is “anticipated” and is usually based on full-time enrollment during registration periods. This will be updated after enrollment verification is completed.

The other Financial drop down link may be used to check the status of any financial aid refund you may be expecting. Once the refund posts, allow 10 – 14 Business Days for posting/mailing. Be sure your address is correct and sign-up for direct deposit or debit card under Manage Refunds for quicker refunds.
