Application Requirements (PN)

Pre-advising nursing checklist on file with Health Admissions

GPA of 2.0 or greater

Unexpired CNA license on file with Health Admissions and Nursing

TEAS exam (no minimum score requirements)

Results - TEAS or HESI A2 for ADN & LPN-RN, if applicable (45% or greater in each category)

Pre-advising checklist on file with Health Admissions

GPA 2.5 or greater

All transcripts evaluated and on file with Admissions & Records, including high school transcripts

LPN to RN pre-advising checklist on file with Health Admissions

GPA 2.5 or greater

TEAS or HESI A2 scores of 45% or greater in each of the categories

HESI mid-curricular test (taken at Germanna) with a score of 750 or greater

Unexpired LPN license on file with Health Admissions and Nursing

Admission to the Nursing Program will be contingent upon the results of a required criminal background check and urine drug screen. This is completed after a conditional offer of acceptance has been made and information will be included in your admission letter. Please use your full legal name consistently in your background check and throughout all application materials.

Misrepresentation on the application will result in dismissal from the Nursing Program.

The locations for labs, clinical, and simulations are not guaranteed to be at the same campus selected for your classes.
