Start college strong this summer by building academic confidence, earning college credit, and exploring future career pathways through a supportive transition program at Germanna.

Classes meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with arrival beginning at 9 a.m.

Program Timeline
The CCEP summer experience begins with orientation and transitions into college success coursework and additional classes for selected students.

SDV 100 – College Success Skills

ITE 152 and PSY 230 begin for selected students
Courses Included
- SDV 100 – Student Development (1 Credit): Build essential skills for college success.
- PSY 230 – Developmental Psychology (3 Credits): Explore human growth and development across the lifespan.
- ITE 152 – Technology Essentials (3 Credits): Learn key technological skills applicable in today's digital world.
Cost: $180.20 per credit
Eligibility (3.0 GPA or higher)
- Recent high school graduate
- No interview needed
- Automatically qualify for the full 7-week program
Eligibility (Below 3.0 GPA)
- Recent high school graduate
- Petition and interview to qualify for the full 7-week program
- Automatically qualify for the one-week summer program (focused on student development and transition support for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and other barriers to learning)
Friday College Visits & Transition Experiences
Each Friday includes unique experiences designed to help students build confidence, explore future options, and prepare for adulthood.
How to Apply
Complete the CCEP application form to express interest in the program. Students may apply for the full program, request interview consideration, or apply for the SDV-only option.
