Writing Center
The ACE Writing Center offers drop-in consultations for all students who are enrolled in credit courses at Germanna Community College. The Writing Center staff will assist students with writing assignments from any accredited Germanna course. Whether the assignment is a descriptive paragraph, a lab report, or a research paper, our consultants provide help with understanding the assignment, brainstorming, researching, thesis, organization, word choice, citations, and grammar. Because our goal is to help Germanna students become confident college writers, consultants will not edit papers. Instead, our goal is to empower students with the ability to become independent writers for the academic setting.
