We Demand: Women’s Suffrage in Virginia, a traveling exhibition from the Library of Virginia, is coming to Germanna Community College. This exhibition commemorates the 2020 centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote. Through text and images, it traces the history of the women's suffrage movement in Virginia from 1909 until 1920.
