safeTALK Training

March 13, 2026 · 8 a.m. · SP1, Room 21

SafeTALK is a four-hour training designed to help participants recognize the signs that someone may be thinking about suicide and confidently start a supportive conversation. Participants learn how to connect individuals with trained suicide intervention resources in the community.

The program promotes safety, reduces stigma, and encourages open, caring dialogue about mental health and suicide.
