Mental Health First Aid Training

April 13, 2026 · 8 a.m. · SP2, Room 105

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges and substance use crises. The training offers practical, real-world skills to identify early warning signs, provide initial support, and connect individuals with appropriate professional help or resources.

MHFA also promotes mental health awareness, reduces stigma, and encourages a safe, supportive response until further assistance is available.
