Germanna proudly partners with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank to offer a mobile food pantry service, providing food and resources to students and our community. Food can be ordered through the convenient OrderAhead service, then picked up on our Locust Grove or Fredericksburg Area campuses.
The Mobile Food Pantry is a drive-thru style pantry with selections including fresh and frozen proteins, fruits, vegetables, pantry items, and more. Our first pick-up event was on Tuesday, May 23, and will continue to occur on every fourth Tuesday.
At Germanna, we care about our students. We know they cannot be successful in the classroom if they’re hungry. We continue to be diligent in providing the care they need to see success in and outside of the classroom.
