Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through October 15
We are thrilled to offer opportunities for you to explore and honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of the Hispanic community. The month holds great significance as it coincides with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Additionally, Mexico and Chile commemorate their independence days on September 16 and September 18, respectively. Furthermore, Día de la Raza, observed on October 12, falls within this 30-day period.
The Office of Equity Advancement, in collaboration with Student Life and Leadership and Germanna Libraries, extends a warm invitation for you to participate in activities, events, and opportunities to engage, learn, and celebrate Hispanic cultures.
