Audition to Sing at Commencement
Germanna is seeking current students to audition for the opportunity to perform the national anthem at the Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies.
The ceremonies will be held at the Anderson Center at the University of Mary Washington on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
- The Health Sciences Commencement and Pinning Ceremony will take place at 2 p.m.
- The Commencement Ceremony for all other programs will take place at 7 p.m.
Students interested in auditioning should email a video or audio recording of their rendition of the national anthem to graduation@germanna.edu.
Be sure to include the following information in your email:
- Full name
- Student ID number
- The ceremony you are interested in performing at
- Subject line: NATIONAL ANTHEM - SP26 COMMENCEMENT
The deadline to submit auditions is March 15.
