L. Wayne Bushrod

Mr. Bushrod is a lifelong resident of King George County. Him and his wife Sheryl, have been married for over 40 years. He graduated from King George High School and earned a certificate in Microcomputers from the Rappahannock Community College.
His past employment includes AT&T as a Circuit Designer, King George Sheriff’s Office as the Communications Manager and King George County Schools where he retired from the Transportation Department. Currently, he is employed part-time by the King George Sheriff’s Office as a Background Investigator.
Mr. Bushrod serves as the President of the King George Branch NAACP and is an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Colonial Beach, VA, the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge #314 and the Fredericksburg Consistory #346. He’s previously served on the Board of Directors for the Ralph Bunche Arts & Humanities Center as well as the King George Chamber of Commerce.
