Germanna Community College is now offering a course for transient students. This course that is being offered is NSG 252 Complex Health Concepts. The student must meet the VCCS Concept-Based Curriculum admission criteria and Germanna Nursing Program credentials requirements.
Requirements
- The student must apply to Germanna Community College.
- A letter from the Dean or Director of the “home school” must be provided to the Director of Nursing or designee in the form of a letter or email stating that the transient student is a “student in good standing” and is eligible to return to the “home school” nursing program with the intent to proceed to graduation. The letter must be Emailed to nursing@germanna.edu.
- Transient students are considered on a case-by-case basis as space is available in the course or the semester they are asking to join.
- The Dean of Nursing and/or the Leadership team will consider the request and will make the final decision for admission.
